In 2009, they received permission to operate horseback safaris inside Lake Mburo National Park, which led to the discovery of amazing routes.

Shy elands may also watch closely, curious to see a zebra without stripes. This experience is exciting because you become the center of attention for these gentle animals.
Zebras are calm creatures that feed on grass, and if there is any trouble between the horses and animals, park rangers are always nearby to keep things calm.
Feel like a cowboy in Lake Mburo National Park by joining the horseback riding adventure. Beginners are advised to start with guided nature walks or game drives since horseback riding needs skilled riders who know how to control the horse and handle the park’s paths.
For more experienced riders, there is a longer horseback riding option lasting about four to five hours. This trip takes you to the grassy Warukiri Range, with hills right in the middle of the park.

Riders are weighed before the activity because horses can carry only up to 100 kilograms, and some only carry 85 kilograms. For your safety, please do not be offended if you are asked to be weighed or not allowed to join.
