Close to Sanga Gate, you will find Hyena Hill Lodge, a peaceful place that feels like home. The lodge offers warm hospitality and comfortable cottages that give beautiful views of the open Savannah landscape of Lake Mburo National Park.
The lodge is in a good location, giving visitors the chance to see wild animals moving across the plains. During the dry season, animals often move in search of water and food, while in the wet season, they spread across the park and some hide in the forests.
However, the wet season can make some areas hard to reach because of muddy paths that are difficult for both cars and people.
Hyena Hill Lodge has a welcoming bar called Mimar, a lounge, and a dining room where guests enjoy delicious meals. There are also two private lodges that are perfect for couples.
In addition, there are four cottages, each with a king-size bed, clean beddings, and friendly service.
Check-in starts at 12:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Please note that the lodge is not responsible for any injuries or damage during your safari, but they will help in any way they can. It is advised to have travel insurance to cover unexpected events.
The lodge has the following booking terms and conditions:
- Rates are quoted in US dollars and include all taxes.
- Payments can be made in US dollars, Uganda shillings, or Euros.
- Guests can pay in cash or by credit card upon arrival or before the stay.
- A 20% non-refundable deposit is required for each booking, with a minimum of 30 US dollars.
- A 50% deposit may be needed for group bookings staying three nights or more.
- Accommodation deposits are non-refundable if canceled within seven days before the arrival date.
- All bank transfer costs must be paid by the guest.
