This 13-day trip takes you to Uganda’s top parks and places. You will see gorillas, chimpanzees, lions, hippos, rhinos, and many birds. You will also meet local communities. The safari starts and ends at Entebbe International Airport.
Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
Your driver-guide will meet you at the airport or your hotel in Kampala. After a short trip briefing, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Stop for lunch at Igongo Cultural Center. After lunch, continue to your lodge for rest and dinner.
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After breakfast, go for a game drive to see impalas, zebras, warthogs, and more. After lunch, take a boat ride to look for hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 3: Drive to Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of mountain gorillas. Enjoy views of farms and hills. Have lunch on the way. Reach your lodge in the evening for dinner and rest.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Visit
After breakfast, go to the park office for a briefing. Then go into the forest to find gorillas. Spend one hour with them. After lunch, visit the Batwa people and learn about their culture. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 5: Travel to Ishasha Sector
Have breakfast and drive to the Ishasha area in Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch, go for a game drive to look for tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in the park.
Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Travel to Semuliki
Go for a short game drive in the morning. Then drive to Semuliki National Park. Have lunch at the lodge. In the evening, take a night game drive to look for animals like hyenas and hippos. Dinner and rest at the lodge.
Day 7: Bird Watching & Hot Springs Visit
After breakfast, go bird watching in Semuliki Forest. You may see over 450 kinds of birds. After lunch, visit Sempaya Hot Springs. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner.
Day 8: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, travel to Kibale Forest. Enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains and local farms. Have lunch at the lodge and relax in the evening.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Walk
After breakfast, go for chimp trekking with a guide. Spend one hour with the chimps. After lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland to see birds, monkeys, and local life. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 10: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Have lunch on the way and reach your lodge in the evening for dinner.
Day 11: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Start your day with a game drive to see lions, elephants, and more. After lunch, go on a boat ride to the bottom of the falls. Look for crocodiles, hippos, and water birds. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 12: Top of the Falls & Travel to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, visit the top of Murchison Falls. Then check out and drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Reach in the evening, check in at the lodge, have dinner, and rest.
Day 13: Rhino Tracking & Departure
breakfast, go for a short walk to see white rhinos with a ranger. After the trek, have lunch, then drive to Entebbe International Airport for your flight or drop-off at your hotel.
